Apple iPad 2, evento di presentazione il 2 marzo a San Francisco

Secondo diverse indiscrezioni trapelate su Internet nel corso delle ultime ore, Apple avrebbe organizzato un evento stampa a San Francisco il giorno mercoledì 2 marzo per presentare in maniera ufficiale il nuovo Apple iPad 2.

Queste voci contrasterebbero inoltre le ultime che prevedevano uno slittamento della presentazione al mese di giugno.
Qui di seguito vi riportiamo la dichiarazione originale del sito web All Things Digital, il supplemento elettronico dell’autorevole quotidiano Wall Street Journal:

To those who intensely cares about this kind of stuff – which would be pretty much everyone in the tech ecosystem – Apple will hold its much-anticipated event on March 2, where the tech giant seems poised to unveil a new version of its hugely successful iPad.

As in, iPad 2! Or, as BoomTown is now officially nicknaming it: iPad Too!

La notizia è stata in seguito confermata anche dall’agenzia di stampa Reuters:

One person familiar with the matter said recent speculation about a delay until June was “simply not true” as Apple is planning a launch in the same seasonal schedule as the first iPad, which went on sale in April 2010.

Apple will host an event on March 2, where the company is expected to take the wraps off the newest iPad model, an individual with knowledge of the situation said. Apple declined to comment.

Anche il New York Times ha dato conferma dell’esistenza di un evento Apple il 2 marzo. Appuntamento quindi alla prossima settimana per il tanto atteso annuncio ufficiale dell’iPad 2!
